Double Image Sounds & Entertainment partner for Bounce The Party Place

Yorktown Heights — Funtime Amusements of Pleasantville and Double Image Sounds & Entertainment of Eastchester have partnered to make a one-stop destination for services and rentals for events of all sizes and themes.
Bounce The Party Place will open its doors at 1761 Front St. by mid-November. The building has been home to several fitness clubs over the past two decades, most recently Davide’s Yorktown Total Fitness.
While Funtime Amusements and Double Image Sounds & Entertainment have been teaming up for years to serve businesses, schools and individuals throughout Westchester, this will be their first joint effort in a shared space.

The company will host parties and events in its new 3500-square-foot facility beginning this month. Even before its official opening, it has three birthday parties on its agenda — a 40th birthday, a 5th birthday and a sweet-16 — as well as an event for disabled children.
The full-service facility is approved to hold up to 180 guests and can provide food and beverage options from the company’s preferred list of caterers.

At the New Yorktown Chamber of Commerce Street Fair in October, Funtime provided the balloon archways, the inflatable screen behind the bandstand, booth table and chairs, the inflatable rides, the generators and the fun food carts featuring cotton candy, hot pretzels and popcorn.

Its other half, Double Image Sounds & Entertainment, was seen and heard at the French Hill back-to-school dance and the Yorktown High School homecoming.
“We’ve been doing event planning for over 27 years and are excited to bring this to Yorktown and its surrounding communities,” said President of Funtime Amusements and Co-Owner of Bounce the Party Place John Iorio.

“I think this is a great contribution to Yorktown, there isn’t anything else like this here,” said President of Double Image and Co-Owner of Bounce Chris Vernia.
The combined businesses provide set-up, service and solutions including arcade games, casinos, DJs, invitations, jumping castles, karaoke, lighting, party props, photo booths, photographers, plasma and project screens, video arcade games, videographers and more.
